Differential Mode in BitBackup operates the same way as Differential Mode for entire files, except that with BitBackup only the parts of the files that have changed are transmitted to the ISecureDat Server. Archive bits are not reset. This setting is useful if you need to coordinate your Remote Backups with local Tape backups.
