Some computer files represent many hours of work worth thousands of dollars while others contain Intellectual Property worth far more. The loss of these files can result in the loss of a lot of money! Everyone who uses a computer is vulnerable which is why everyone needs an online backup service.

ISecureDat can resolve this problem by automatically sending copies of your important files to our data center over the internet. If (when) files are accidentally lost, users can simply restore them from their account via Internet.

The heart of an online backup service is the software that runs on the end user's computer called a "Client" or an "'Agent". It is responsible for monitoring the computer's use, sending the correct files to the data center, and giving the end user a way of restoring their files from the center.

To maintain complete security, each account retains an "encryption key" known only to the end user. The "Agent" uses this key to encrypt all files being sent, compresses them and sends them to the center via "Extended Validation SSL tunnel" which cannot be tracked. The files are stored at the center in their encrypted and compressed form, so nobody can view them except the end user, who retains the key.

The electronic vault system (agent) is set up so that at a preset time, usually late at night, the client's computer automatically wakes up and prepares it's data for backup, it determines which files are new or have been modified since the last backup, compresses and encrypts them for security. When the data is ready the computer uses its modem or Internet connection to contact our servers and transmit the data. Our servers verifies and stores the data. You can rest assured that your data is safe, because it is stored securely offsite.
